HARVEST DAY

Long ago, when the kingdoms of the Eggverse were still young, the turning of the seasons determined whether a village would flourish or struggle through the long winter ahead. As autumn's final days arrived and the last fields were gathered, the Egg Folk would fill their granaries and look upon the harvest with grateful hearts.

They believed their bounty had been blessed by Usikrius, the God of the Harvest, whose watchful care nourished the fields with gentle rains, warm sunlight, and fertile soil. To honor his generosity, every village prepared a great feast from the fruits of their labor. Families, neighbors, and travelers alike were welcomed to the table, for it was said that a harvest was never truly abundant unless it was shared.

Before the first meal was eaten, the eldest among them would offer thanks to Usikrius for another season of plenty and pray that his blessings would continue through the years to come.

As the ages passed, Harvest Day became more than a celebration of a successful crop. Though the feasts remained, the holiday grew into a time for every Egg Folk to give thanks—not only for full fields and overflowing tables, but for family, friendship, good health, and the countless blessings that make life rich.

And so, each autumn, the Egg Folk gather once more around tables filled with the season's bounty, remembering that the greatest harvest is not measured by what is gathered from the earth, but by the gratitude carried within the heart.
